I moved to Dufferin County from Oakville, Ontario with my husband and 2 children in 1989. We built a home in Mono Township on 10 beautiful rolling acres. Unfortunately, we overextended ourselves and had to sell in a down market in 1991. Because we were un-educated home sellers, we lost quite a bit of money. This unfortunate event played an integral part in choosing my career as a real estate sales representative. I wanted to ensure that what happened to us wouldn't happen to someone else. I wanted to help educate home buyers and sellers. I wanted to make a difference and 17 Years later, I am just as excited about helping people as I was when I began my career in 2000.
I've always wanted to help people but just didn't know how. I worked nights and stayed at home during the day to help raise our 5 children and when the time was right for our family, I got my license and havent regretted it for a moment. Sure, the hours are sometimes very long and it can be somewhat stressful but the rewards of smiling faces and knowing you helped made a difference in someones life are so worth it!!
